Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

· This American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course teaches how to manage illness and injuries and use CPR AED skills in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes:

o CPR for Adult, Child and Infant

o AED use for Adults and Children

o Preventing illness and injury

oOpioid-associated life-threatening emergencies

o First Aid Basics

o Medical Emergencies

o Injury Emergencies

o Environmental Emergencies

   Successful completion of first aid and CPR/AED skills according the AHA Guidelines is required to pass this course. After successful completion of this class, a card valid for two years will be issued via email within 3- 5 business days after the class date.

Who should enroll: This class is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who need adult, child, and infant CPR AED training and a course certification card or for other requirements or for those who want to be prepared to act in an emergency.

Location notes: We are located on the Inova Center for Personalized Health (ICPH) campus Inova Well; 8100 Innovation Park Drive, Fairfax, VA 22031, conference center building 2nd floor. Enter the building via the main entrance on Innovation Park Drive (under the sky bridge), take elevators up to 2nd floor, exit elevators to your right and follow signage to conference room (on your right).

Class cancelations do not always follow local public school closings. To reschedule or request a refund for cancelation due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances call 571-472-1401. Classes not rescheduled within 30 days of cancelation will automatically be refunded to the credit card used for registration. These non-registrant initialed cancelations, refunds and transfers will not incur a 20% processing fee.
