Infant CPR
The American Heart Association Family and Friends Infant CPR course teaches you infant CPR skills (birth to 12 months). It is designed for those people who want to know and be aware of what to do in a situation where a baby may choke, stop breathing, or not have a pulse. You will learn how to open an airway that is obstructed and how to perform CPR until EMS arrives. This course is for personal enhancement and should not be taken by those who need to know these skills for their job.
Who Should Enroll: This course is for anyone who would like to learn Infant CPR and does not need a certification card for a job. Children ages 8 through 16 are allowed to register and attend this class with a parent who is also registered and attending the same class. Please do not bring children under the age of 8 to class.
Card: This is not a certification course, no card is issued.
Cost:$45 per attendee; separate registration and payment is required for each attendee.
Course Manual: Your course manual will be distributed in class.

Location notes: We are located on the ICPH campus Inova Well; 8100 Innovation Park Drive, Fairfax, VA 22031, conference center building 2nd floor. Enter the building via the main entrance on Innovation Park Drive (under the sky bridge), take elevators up to 2nd floor, exit elevators to your right and follow signage to conference room (on your right).

Weather policy: Information about cancelations due to inclement weather or an area emergency can be obtained by calling the Inova Well weather hotline at
571-472-1438. Class cancelations do not always follow local public school closings. To reschedule or request a refund for cancelation due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances call 571-472-1401. Classes not rescheduled within 30 days of cancelation will automatically be refunded to the credit card used for registration. These non-registrant initialed cancelations, refunds and transfers will not incur a 20% processing fee.
