Virtual Expecting Multiples Class

The Virtual Expecting Multiples class is offered as three 2-hour classes via Teams. This class is conducted by a live instructor. Time is allotted for Q&A during each 2-hour session.

• This class is designed for the unique needs of parents expecting multiples. Class topics include:
  • Maintaining a healthy pregnancy
  • Identifying preterm labor
  • Discussion of both vaginal and cesarean birth with multiples
  • Information about Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) services
  • Basic care and breastfeeding of multiples
  • Discussion of the unique post-birth challenges and rewards of parenting multiples

   

• Parents who plan to breastfeed should take a separate Breastfeeding class.

   

• Class cost includes a virtual WebApp. Instructions to access the WebApp will be provided prior to the start date of your class. The web app includes educational content as well as video clips, printable charts and checklists, interactive web tools and much more.

  Class fee includes participant and one adult partner. Partners are encouraged to attend.
